Day ONE Week ONE - liftoff

  Monday 18th September 2023. 0730 About to start. This is the first day. It is INDUCTION WEEK and the first meeting with the Tutors, who will induct us (!!) is online tomorrow between 4 - 6 pm (1600 - 1800). This will be a very intense course as it is 180 credits worth of study in 12 months (full time). Usually it's 60credits a year (part time).   My MA course with Portsmouth University starts in seven days time, 18th Sep 2023. Although this is a 'Distance Learning' course, and I am well used to them with the Open University, I am finding it all very strange. The OU kept you fully briefed from start to finish and the course materials where well presented. Here I find I have to do a lot of work just to find out what to do and how their online 'Moodle' system works. No worries, I will overcome.
